What Is Concierge Medicine?
Concierge medicine is a membership-based approach to primary care. An annual membership lets us care for far fewer patients than a traditional practice, so you get more time with your physician, faster access, and a doctor who knows you and your priorities. Your insurance, including Medicare, is still billed for visits, labs, and imaging.

At Rivanna Concierge Physicians, care is built on time, access, and meaningful relationships.
- Small by design. Our membership model limits how many patients each physician cares for, so every visit is unhurried.
- Your insurance still works. We bill your insurance, including Medicare, for visits, labs, and imaging. Membership covers the time and access insurance doesn't.
- Advanced diagnostics included. Membership includes an annual full-body DEXA scan and a functional movement assessment conducted by our partner physical therapist.
- An advocate in a complex system. We coordinate with your specialists and help arrange second opinions when needed.
- Physician-owned and operated.
No health system or corporate ownership. Decisions are made by the physicians who see you.
